Army strengthens Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law culture

Bogotá. In execution of the Policies ordered by the Army Commander, it is developed from April 30 to May 11 several workshops in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law that makes part of the cooperation project between the United Kingdom government and the National Army.
The program is developed in the facilities of the Military Education Center (CEMIL), under the United Kingdom Government's consultantship, it is developed a cooperation program in this field, with the objective knowing new concepts and experiences that could be applied and design new pedagogic strategies to be incorporate to the education system and current doctrine.
The programming of the cycle began on the 1st of May with the workshop about Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Doctrine. Between the 3 and the 8 will be carried out the Military Penal Justice workshop, from the 9th to the 11th the workshop will be about the Confrontation Rules and Operational Procedures and parallel to this workshop will be carried out on May 11 the course on Training Analysis.
In this way it is sought that the personnel that is qualified and upgraded in this topic could be a multiplier inside the Force, in order to contribute in the invigoration of the universal culture of the Human Rights and the International. Humanitarian Law.
